Day 17: Physics lesson

I know what you’re thinking, why is he getting a physics lesson? He’s not taking any physics classes. I’ll get to it.

So today started off with my film analysis lecture then, I had my film screening an hour later. I had an hour afterwords so, I went to the library cafe and bought something for lunch.

My next class was space law. We had to come up with our topic section. I chose terraforming because, I understand the science of it from my geosciences project but I don’t know about the corresponding legal stipulations. After we told the teachers what we were going to be studying, we were put into groups to define space. This is where the physics lesson came in. The others in their last year of law school suggested that it be the point that Earth’s gravity doesn’t effect objects anymore. If you understand basic physics you’ll be laughing about now. So, the professor got up and wrote the basic gravitational equation on the board. He then explained it and everyone understood. I believe that this is why a lot of laws about science don’t make sense. If your a law student, I would highly recommend learning at least the basics of a variety of fields.

I was tired after class so, I went back to the flat and ate spaghetti.
