My name is Patrick Duensing. I recently completed my second year of college at Fort Hays State University and, decided that I wanted to add some adventure to my college experience. This decision led me to the study abroad department at Fort Hays State where, I applied to study in the UK for a year. After waiting what seemed like an eternity for a decision I was excited to be notified that I was placed at the University of Sunderland in North-East England. In the several months since then I have completed the seemingly endless amount of paperwork required to acquire a visa and, paid the numerous expenses that come with the paperwork. Now all that I have to do is pack and get on the plane next week. Follow me here as I blog about my life abroad during this school year.
